James Harold Neis

James Harold Neis, age 85, died Monday, June 2, 2025 at his home with family. He was born May 18, 1940 in Lubbock, TX to Ernest and Bertha (Carty) Neis. He graduated from Abernathy High School, Abernathy, TX. He married the love of his life, Ruecilla (Cherry) in 1958 and they later moved to Oklahoma in 1969, eventually settling in the Yukon area. He was a mechanic by trade with a focus on forklifts. He loved his wife, his family and his fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ernestine Blevins. James is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruecilla, three sons, James Jr. and wife Debbie, Terry and wife Amy and Dennis and wife Chelsea, three grandchildren, Casey Neis, Briana Neis and fiancée Taylor Murphy and Kottyn Neis, also by his sister Maybell Teakel. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00pm, June 19, 2025 at McNeil's Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
