In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry, Jerry, and Roger Robinson; sister-in-law, Donna Robinson; nephews, Wade and John Robinson; and his dogs, River and Boston.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Deborah Robinson of Plainfield; sons, Matt Robinson (Kim) of Plainfield, Jeremy Robinson (Nicole) of Evansville, and Josh Spencer (Randa) of Plainfield; brothers, David Robinson (Vickie) of Louisiana and Ronnie Robinson (Tracey) of Amo; sisters, Jan Wood (Steve) of Plainfield and Patsy Hurrle (Jim) of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Wren “Princess” and Jake “Hammerhead”; sister-in-law, Suzy Robinson of Texas; his dog, Ollie; and several extended family members.
