He was born August 16, 1962, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Janice Schulist. James was a great husband, father, and instructor. He worked as an air traffic controller for over 25 years. He also did job training and instructing for air traffic. James was adventurous and enjoyed flying and sailing. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Miho Schulist; and his parents, Janice and Daniel Schulist. His children, Jessica Green, Jesse Schulist, Fallon Glenn, Mateo Schulist, Cody Schulist, Addison Schulist, Branden Schulist, and his sisters, Janet Willie, Diane Chapman, and Reagan Fernandez, his brother, Nicholas Schulsit, he is also survived by several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his three brothers.
Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Russell School House in Russell, Arkansas.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob – Judsonia.

I worked with James many years at Los Angeles Center as an air traffic controller. He was always a pleasure to work with and would put a smile on my face! RIP "Dave", you'll be missed! An Area F legend!
