Jim was a man of dedication and courage. Our family has been blessed with his strong faith and inspired by his acceptance to live his life to the fullest, despite his cancer for the last 15 years.
Jim grew up in the North Side of Pittsburgh, where he attended Most Holy Name School and North Catholic High School. He started at an early age to work at his family's business, Artcraft Wood Products, until he retired in 2006.
Always proud of his seven children, Jim encouraged them to do their best in whatever they endeavor in life. He had a passion for music and sang in our church Adult choir over 38 years and occasionally with the Resurrection Choir. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister since the beginning of the ministry.
He will live on in each of our lives as well as our extended families, and to all whose lives he's touched over the years.
He will be greatly missed.
Peace and love, knowing he rests In the arms of his Creator forever.
Our gratitude and love to all for your support, love, and prayers,
The Stalter Family

Hi Brother James,
I was sooo privileded to be a part of your amazing life. Our times together were mostly in spiritual connections -- and in service to our Parish -- and we sang together too. We both experienced a Cursillo Weekend -- and Marriage Encounter -- both very helpful in our pilgrimage in this transient world.
Now, here you are -- in the NEW world that awaits us all -- in Faith.
Please keep us in your prayers -- as I am sure you are with our Blessed Lord -- and the whole company of Heaven.
I love you Brother Jim...
