Jimmy was one of the most perfectly imperfect people I´ve ever known.
Deeply broken yet incredibly hard working and generous with everything he had. Most only ever saw the goofy outer layer he showed the world. But under that was such a wise and incredible person. He taught me the value of looking past first impressions, and looking to see what Jehovah loves about a person.

It was such an honor to get to be a part of his life. I feel like Jehovah gave me the very best parts of Jimmy. He gave me a dad like I had never known. Jimmy KNEW me and loved me when I needed that so much. He helped guide me as I was getting my start in adult life. His words of advice still guide me and echo in my ears decades later.

There was no one else in the world I wanted more to give my wedding talk. He was the one I trusted to give advice to help get our married life off to a good start as well. And he did such a beautiful job at it. It was so real and genuine because he took the time to knew Gerald and I both so well. Our strengths and our weaknesses and how we would work well together and what pitfalls to be aware of. He was spot on.

I´m so happy that his very next moment will be waking up refreshed in a beautiful paradise without any hint of the accumulated pain he carried thru out this entire life. And I hope I get to be right there with Marilyn and his family to tackle him with happy hugs to welcome him back. :)) And I can´t wait to work on landscaping and construction projects with him, and to play will the all the critters. :))
... and especially I look forward to sharing my future children with their Grandpa Jimmy.

Until then I will remember him fondly with unspeakably immense gratitude in my heart.
