James Ward

James F. "Bud" Ward, Jr.,
Age 81, of Canton, passed away Thur., Nov. 6, 2025. He was born Apr. 9, 1944, in Zanesville, a son of the late James and Marion (Linscott) Ward., Sr. Bud was a 1962 graduate of Perry High School and served with the US Navy aboard the U.S.S. Hancock during the Vietnam War. He had worked at Diebold and American Steel Foundry. Bud was a member of NAWCC and the Canton RC Club.
Preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Clay. Survived by his wife, Wanda Ward, with whom he celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary on July 25; one daughter, Michelle Ward; one son Daniel (Erica Glass-Ward) Ward; one grandson, Lincoln James Ward; and three sisters, Linda (Tom Kress) Polsinelli, Joyce McGuire, and Barabara Liggett. Services will be held Wed. at 11am in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7pm in the funeral home.
