James Shaun "Jim" Weston, age 59, of Huber Heights, passed away August 15, 2025. He was born October 15, 1965 in Tacoma, Washington to the late William and Beryl Weston.
Jim is survived by his wife, Michelle Weston; children: Leah Weston and Sean Weston; brothers: Scott Weston and Bill Lafortez (Linda); sister, Susan Weston; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid Raiders fan, loved heavy metal and rock music and enjoyed playing euchre. Jim loved his country, was very patriotic and was a member of AmVets Post # 24.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Dayton National Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road at 9:00 am and will leave for the cemetery at 9:15 am. Contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
