Jan Lampkins, age 66 of McMinnville, TN passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her residence. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 4, 2025, at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 4th at McEvoy Funeral Home.
Jan Lampkins was born January 12, 1958, in Henry Co., TN to the late Jesse Hayden & Willie Mae Morris Lampkins.
Jan was a member of Freedom Life Church in McMinnville, TN. She was a very hard worker and loved being outside in the pool, fishing, planting flowers, or mowing the lawn. She loved her Lord and would share her faith with anyone she met.
Jan is survived by her daughter, Jessica Clendenin (Adam) Reed of McMinnville; grandchild, Tyler Steele (Lindzey Hillis) of McMinnville; sisters: Betty Joyce Stephenson of Paris and DiAnn Strahan of Battle Creek, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other family members.
Besides her parents, Jan was also preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Bennett, and a brother, Charles Lampkins.
Pallbearers for Ms. Lampkins will be Harlon Smith, Adam Reed, Tony Wade, Andy Sanders, Lee Jones, and Kacy Watkins.
