Jane Dean Obituary

Jane received her Graduate Equivalence Degree and began her career in manufacturing, ultimately retiring in 2007 after 30 years of devoted service at Solo Cup. She was well-respected by her colleagues and known for her strong work ethic. In her spare time, Jane enjoyed crocheting and going to the casino.
A beloved mother and grandmother, Jane is survived by her daughter, Patti Caudill (Jeff); her son, Paul Davis (Nicole); and her cherished grandsons, Tyler Davis, Bragg Davis, and Jeremy "Dean" Caudill. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, brother Bill Freeman and sister Kay Freeman. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, John Dean; parents, Harvey Freeman and Louise Truitt; son, James David Bragg; grandson, Dean Franklin Caudill; and sister, Nancy Peacock.
The visitation for Jane Freeman Dean will be held on June 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 10:00 AM, both at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Southern Delaware COPD Coalition, PO Box 849, Millsboro, DE 19966.
Jane will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Jane and I were school buds in Snow Hill High, what a blast we had to getter. Then she moved away. We missed her deeply. Then she attended the last reunion, she sent me pictures, and she and I enjoyed picking out the people we remembered. May she rest in peace.
