Jane Louise Jewett Age 94, Houston, Texas Jane Louise Jewett, age 94, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Houston, Texas. She was born on February 6, 1931, in Bronx, New York. Jane was a high school graduate and went on to work as an administrative assistant for Tiffany & Co. in New York. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. Known for her warmth and kindness, Jane dedicated much of her time to needlepoint and volunteering at the local hospital, where she touched many lives with her generosity of spirit. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53-years Allen Jewett and survived by her twin sister Joan Anderson, and her two sons, Scott and his wife Jennifer, Doug and his wife Julie; her five grandchildren, Alex, Gabe, John, Michael, and Thomas; and her three great-grandchildren, Casen, Emmett, and Haley. In addition, she leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Dettling Funeral Home in Houston, Texas, with details to be shared later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Association. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to friends, caregivers, and hospital staff for their love and support during this time. ________________________________________ Closing Scripture "The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." - Psalm 23:1-4
