Jane L. Marry

Jane L. Marry, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, at U of M Hospital. She was born to Howard and Muriel (Rockey) McLain on March 21, 1957, in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Jane graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1975. After graduation she went on to work at Bob Evans Farms. It is there, at Bob Evans, that Jane met the love of her life, Elmer R. Marry, and he survives. The two were married in Hillsdale, on August 28th, 1993 and spent 31 wonderful years together.
Jane was known for her upbeat personality and perpetual optimism. She enjoyed cross stitching, going to casinos with friends and family, and spending time with her beloved pets. Jane loved spending time with family, hosting family parties and get-togethers was her specialty. What brought her the most joy though was time spent with her grandchildren. Jane could often be found taking them shopping, to lunch, or just spending time with them.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Elmer; sons, Elmer (Jacquelyn) Marry, Brodrick (Brooke) Marry; seven grandchildren, Kenadee, Kallahan, Elmer Kannon, Olivia, Corbin, Brogan and Brantley, her brother Jack McLain, uncle, Fred McLain, sister-in-law Mary Beth (Jimmie) Atkinson, Sandy (Jeff) Snead, brother-in-law Mark (Toni) Marry, and her "honorary mother" and special friend Carolyn Braun. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Muriel, and father and mother-in-law, Elmer L. and Carolyn Marry.
Visitation for Jane will be held on Thursday October 10th, 2024, at Eagle Marry Funeral Home, Hudson from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson, Michigan.
