Sandra K Marry

Sandra K. Marry, age 81, of Union Road, Hudson, Michigan, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024. She was born June 20, 1943, in Hudson, Michigan, to Lowell and Ola (Stiverson) Barkway. She married Philip Marry on May 29, 1965, at Sacred Heart Church in Hudson, and he survives.
Sandy was a lifelong Hudson area resident and a medical transcriptionist at University of Michigan Medical Center, Thorn, and Bixby Hospitals, retiring from Thorn Hospital in 1995. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1961, and attended Stautzenberger Business School in Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Altar Rosary Society. Her loves were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, cooking, baking, and reading.
Surviving Sandy besides her husband, Philip, are one daughter, Alisha (Christopher) Kelly of Brighton, Michigan; three sons, Stephen Marry of Hudson, Michigan, Eric (Ann) Marry of Fenton, Michigan, and Marc (Roxanna) Marry of Livonia, Michigan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Preceded in death by a sister, Suzette (Richard) McGill and brother, Stephen Barkway
The funeral mass for Sandy will be on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson with Father Todd Koenigsknecht as celebrant. A burial will follow in Calvery Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 3-6 pm at the Eagle Marry Funeral Home, Hudson.
