Jane Pribula Obituary

Jane Ellen Brouse was born August 19, 1946 in Hopkinsville, KY on Fort Campbell Army Base to Sidney and Ida (Gilbertson) Brouse. She grew up in Thief River Falls, MN and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. She married James Pribula on May 29, 1965 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor, MN. James and Jane lived in Sunnyvale, California, Minneapolis and Thief River Falls before making their home in East Grand Forks in 1975. Jane worked at the UND Memorial Union for several years at the student information desk where she cherished her time spent with students and staff. She loved to cook, shop, and visit countless hours on the phone with family and friends. Jane enjoyed planting and caring for her many pots of geraniums and took pride in her yard and home. She was known for her contagious energy and laughter. Jane was truly one of a kind and will be missed dearly by those who knew her.
Jane is survived by her children; Darrin Pribula and Tera Pribula, both of East Grand Forks, siblings; Janice Jauhola, Sid (Donna) Brouse, Bradley (Linda Raymond) Brouse, Becky (Murray) Dicken, all of Thief River Falls, sister-in-law; Nancy Brouse of Baudette, Kathy (Blake) Carlson of Crookston, brothers-in-law; Gerald (Patrice) Pribula, and Terry Greenwood both of East Grand Forks, and grandchildren; Karissa Hanson of Mayville, Kalli (Larry) Matejcek of Grand Forks, Sydney Pribula of Minneapolis, Steven Pribula, Sawyer Pribula, and Straton Pribula, all of Brainerd.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents; Sidney and Ida, husband; James, parents-in-law; Ray and Marie Pribula, brother; Danny Brouse, sister; Connie Lane, sister-in-law Donna Greenwood, brother-in-law Fred Pribula, nephew; Sean Dargus, and niece; Cindi McDougall.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 2:00PM, Monday, June 9, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 200 3rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.
VISITATION: One hour before the service at the church.
INURNMENT: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
