Janelle "Jan" J. Weber, 71, of Chandler, Indiana, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville.

Jan was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 13, 1954 to the late Malcolm and Darcus (Greene) Miller. She worked part time at EVSC for 14 years. Jan was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she served as past treasurer. She enjoyed walking and sewing. Jan cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help others.

Jan is survived by her husband of 54 years, Steve Weber of Chandler, IN; daughters, Stephanie Taber of Evansville, IN, Jennifer Weber (Bobby DeJarnette) of Evansville, IN, and Melissa Warren (Shannon) of Chandler, IN; son, Nate Weber of Evansville, IN; sister, Joyce Carter of Haubstadt, IN; brother, Bill Greene of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Tiffany Lothamer (Christian), Zhailee and Zhane Taber, Devon, Colton, and Bryson DeJarnette, Keenan Warren (Maicey), Keeana Warren, Anthony, Caleb, Dante (Bailye Brenay), and Morgan Weber; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Tennes.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, W. Lincoln Ave., Chandler, IN 47610.
