Janet Melina Biggart, 80, of Milan, passed away on Friday December 13, 2024 at her home. She was born in Haverhill, MA on December 26, 1943 the daughter of the late John A. and Margaret T. (Barnes) Tremblay and moved to Milan in 1969. She later lived in Plaistow, NH before returning to Milan in 2021. Janet had been employed as a housekeeper at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital and had also done in home care work. She loved farming, horses and being outdoors.
Family includes her children Nina Biggart and companion Wayne Holt of Milan, NH, Gary Biggart and wife Susan of Milan, NH and Jamie Burns and husband John of Warrensburg, MO; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister Susan Powell and husband Kevin of Bradford, MA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert Biggart, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held in the spring on May 1, 2025 at 11 AM at the Milan Community United Methodist Church, Milan, NH. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan. There will be no calling hours. The family would like to thank all of her home care providers who took care of her which enabled her to stay in her home.
