Janet was born in Malden, the daughter of the late Israel and Gertrude Miller. She earned degrees from Boston University and Northeastern University. Her career encompassed working for Polaroid and several technology companies as an executive assistant and later as an editor.
Janet was an always compassionate person who enjoyed music, belly dancing, and writing stories for children. She was the devoted wife of the late Jacob D. Gubbay; beloved sister of the late S. Doreen Rosenzweig; and dear aunt of Lori and Ken Snow, Beth Rosenzweig, Sheryl Rosenzweig, and David and Marcy Rosenzweig.
Services were private.
