Maryann Cash Cassidy, a resident of Bolton, formerly of Acton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was sixty-three years old. She was the beloved wife of Kurt Cassidy.
Maryann was born in Whippany, NJ, daughter of the late Carl and Mary Elizabeth (Austing) Cash. She grew up in Cliffton Park, NY for a time before her family settled in Acton. She was a graduate of Acton Boxborough Regional High School with the Class of 1979. She furthered her education first at Miami of Ohio for her undergrad where she was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority. She went on to Suffolk University and Boston University where she earned her master's in law. Maryann worked locally for many years as an attorney with D'Agostine Levine Parra & Netburn PC. More recently, she has been in private practice for herself and operating her own business. Maryann loved to entertain and host holidays. She enjoyed traveling and special trips with family and friends. More than anything, Maryann was a loving wife and mother. She was a constant and loving presence for her family and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Maryann is lovingly survived by her husband Kurt Cassidy along with their two children Liam and Maeve Cassidy. She was the loving sister of Alan Cash and his wife Kathy. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ellen Cash. She also leaves her beloved goldendoodle Tank. Sadly, in addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Kevin Cash.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, June 5th from 5:00-7:00PM in the Acton Funeral Home 470 Massachusetts Avenue (Rte. 111) Acton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 6th at 10:00AM in St. Bridget's Church, 1 Percival Street Maynard. Please meet at the church. Interment will be at a later date.
