Janet Kathryn Nau (nee Wiesmann), 84, passed away on June 3, 2025 at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
She was born on January 28, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Oscar and Isabel (Westrich) Wiesmann.
Janet was the owner of the Nau Real Estate Company in Cold Spring. She was a graduate of Mt. Healthy High School, Xavier University and Southern Ohio Business College. She is an avid reader and she enjoys sewing, cooking and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Keith Nau. Janet is survived by her husband Gerald Nau, son Brian Nau, daughters, Michelle (Michael) Reichert and Suzanne (Joseph) Ferraro, a brother Roger (Marlene) Wiesmann, 9 grandchildren, Christine, Samantha (Jesse), Zachary (Katie), Anthony (Alexis), Michael (Samantha), Haley, Christopher, Megan, and Anna, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30 pm Monday, June 9, 2025, at the St. Thomas Church in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association 5211 Madison Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45227.
