Janet Louise (Schmidt) Halleran, 82 passed away peacefully on May 7th 2025. She was born in Portsmouth Ohio on June 15, 1942
A long time resident of Flemingsburg Kentucky she could be seen around town at numerous bluegrass events dancing and socializing with locals that she considered her friends. She was a devout catholic and was a 55 year member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Flemingsburg.
She is survived by her only surviving son Jeffrey (Kathy) Halleran, her granddaughter by marriage, Brittany (Elijah) Malden, Her granddaughter Kayla Faye Halleran, as well as her Grandson Alex Halleran and her great grandchildren as well.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Joseph Halleran and her son Jay (Jay Bird) Halleran.
Graveside services 11:00 A.M. Monday May 12, 2025 at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Washington, Kentucky with Father Phillip W. Devous as Celebrant.
There is no visitation.
