Janet Lynn Schonscheck, born on July 28, 1961, was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, deeply touching all who knew her.
Janet was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Boston, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment. Her life was filled with a variety of passions, reflecting her vibrant personality and zest for life. She took immense joy in supporting her son's sporting events and was a proud fan of the Detroit Tigers.
With a love for the great outdoors, Janet enjoyed boating, camping, and spending time at the family cabin. She delighted in golf cart rides and was known to capture precious family moments through her photography. A creative soul, Janet expressed herself through painting and collecting rocks. Her thirst for adventure often led her to travel, enjoy cruises, and visit casinos.
Janet's memory will be forever cherished by her surviving husband, Jeffrey Schonscheck; her son, Ben; her mother, Michele Renke; and her siblings, Dave (Beth) Renke, Steven (Linda) Renke, and Julie (Manny) Manago. She will also be dearly missed by her ten nieces, eight nephews, and twenty-five great-nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, Phillip Joseph Renke, and in-laws, Fred and Nancy Schonscheck, Janet now rests in peace alongside them.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Boston, honoring Janet's lifelong dedication to her faith and community. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
