I had the pleasure to work with Janet in Lexington District One. She was a "go to" kind of person. Always a joy to work with and if she didn't know the answer she would find it. I will always have fond memories of our time together.

Janet was a kind-hearted, loving next-door neighbor and friend. I will always think of Janet when I look over and see the beautiful flowers and trees she planted in her yard and remember how she left this world a better place.

I am so grateful that I was able to bring my mom, Irene, over from Oregon to see Janet and Aunt Marlene. It was so lovely staying and talking with Janet for the week. It was so nice to catch up after all the years. It will be a memory treasured forever.

I will always remember my brilliant, kind, fun cousin. Her hand-me-downs mailed from New York was the highlight of my young life! I still have a love of second hand clothes because it made me feel closer to my far away cousin.
