She was married to Frank L. Medeiros Sr. with whom he would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in June of 2025. Although, 38 incredible years seems like a long time for some, it was not enough for this couple.
Born in Cambridge, MA she was the daughter of the late Peter Cassaro and Marie (Scala) Cassaro. She was the sister of the late Kenny Cassaro.
She graduated from Arlington High School, with the class of 1973.
She retired from the Arlington Public School System and had previously worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Janice enjoyed walking, traveling, beaches, and she was an avid Red Sox fan.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons Frank Medeiros Jr. of Chelmsford, MA, Marc Medeiros of Chelmsford, MA, her sisters Petrine and her husband Terry McNiff of Antrim, NH, Diane and her spouse Staci Ciccketti of Raynham, MA, Lori Violanto and her late husband Paul of Kittery, ME, LuAnn and her husband Franny Kenney of Derry, NH as well as many nieces and nephews.

Janice Marie Medeiros, North Chelmsford, died Saturday, May 24, 2025. Visiting hours Friday, May 30, 2025 from 9-11 AM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA.
