Janice Marie Veltre, 71, a devoted Registered Nurse and cherished family member, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on July 26, 1954, Janice dedicated her life to caring for others, profoundly impacting the lives of her patients and colleagues throughout her esteemed nursing career.
Janice found immense joy in her role as a grandmother. She loved her grandkids with all her heart, and her legacy will live on through their memories of her warmth and kindness. She is survived by her son, Michael Melenka, and daughter-in-law, Erin Melenka, who will remember her for her unwavering support and love. Janice was also the proud grandmother of Brielle Melenka, Malakai Melenka, and Sebastian Melenka, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her immediate family, Janice is survived by her beloved brothers, Larry Dwojak and Jerome Dwojak, who will carry forward her spirit and shared memories of their time together.
Janice's compassion for others, both in her professional life and as a loving family member, leaves a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her dedication to her family and her profession are remembered fondly, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched throughout her life.
