Janice Williams Obituary

Janice Reynolds Williams, 63, passed away peacefully in her home, and entered into Heaven on March 20, 2024. She was born on March 12th 1961 in Sparta, New Jersey, where she resided until she was 14, when the family relocated to Virginia
Beach.
A graduate of Bayside High School, Janice thoroughly enjoyed her time as a twirler on the school's Baton team. In 1984, Janice (and the late Louis C. Spivey Jr.) welcomed their only child and joy of their lives, Mandy. In 2013, Janice married Anthony (Tony) Williams and they have resided happily in Virginia Beach, where they enjoyed spending time with their many friends and family, and vacationing to Florida and especially the Florida Keys. Janice will be remembered for her amazing determination and perseverance, quick wit, and her incredible thoughtfulness and generosity to everyone she knew. She is survived by her husband, Tony Williams, daughter Amanda Spivey, (Eric Distin) her beloved grandchildren Gavin and Giuliana, all of Virginia Beach. Her parents, Joan and Harry Reynolds; sisters, Joan Smith (Russell), Joyce Wall, and Jill Ange-Morgan (Stacey), all of Florida; many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as bonus grandchildren, Dalton Daly and Braeden Harrison, and her loving and loyal dog, Nyna Kay. She will be tremendously missed.
A celebration of life will be April 5th, 2024 at 2pm followed by a reception at Altmeyer Funeral Home – Southside Chapel
