Jared Clink

Jared Patrick Clink, age 43, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025, lovingly surrounded by his family. He was born in Jeannette, PA on December 30, 1981, son of the late William Hamilton and Pamela Clink Hartley Sparks.

Jared was a 2001 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and attended Edinboro University. He was the assistant manager of The Cove Restaurant since 2019. Jared was a talented musician, who wrote his own music, and was known as Colonel Clink. He was in the Rock Erie Music Awards and performed in the Tri-State Erie area. Jared enjoyed cooking, had an amazing sense of humor, and loved spending time with family. He treasured his children with all his heart.

Jared is survived by three children, Julian Clink, Sr. (Ja' Laizha), Jeramiah Clink, and Janessa Clink; two brothers, Jorden Berger and Ryan Berger; his loving friend, Tia O'Day; his aunt, Mel Mel Clink; one grandson, Julian Clink, Jr.; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Shirley Clink; and infant sister, Briana Berger.

The family is requesting that you wear Jared's favorite color red, and are invited to call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.), on Thursday, March 6th, from 3 pm to 7 pm, and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday, March 7th, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Ryan Gaines. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be designated to the family.
