North Brookfield: Jared M. Perron, 46, of High St., passed away on Wednesday, October 8th, at The Meadows of Leicester after an illness.

He leaves his parents, Arthur Perron of Spencer and Karen (Quinn) Trumbull and his step-father Richard F. Trumbull, Jr. of North Brookfield: his brother Daniel A. Perron and his wife Melissa of Bolton; his sister, Regina Trumbull and her fiancé Rhys Simmons of East Brookfield; his grandmother, Barbara Gelinas and step-grandfather Richard Gelinas of Warren; nieces and nephew, Quinn Trumbull-Olsen, Scout Perron, and Cooper Perron, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jared was predeceased by his fiancé Alicia Sutter in 2022, as well as his grandparents, David Quinn, Alfred and Claire Perron, and Richard and Melvina Trumbull. Jared was born in Worcester on February 23, 1979.

Jared was known for his storytelling, quick comebacks, and laugh. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people smile, often with a little sarcasm. He found joy in the simple pleasures-long days spent fishing, shooting hoops until sunset, or losing himself in a video game. He was a passionate fan of all Boston teams-the Pats, Red Sox, and Celtics-and grew up admiring athletes like Michael Jordan and Kirby Puckett.

A kid at heart, Jared loved cartoons like SpongeBob, South Park, and Scooby-Doo. His music taste was wide, ranging from rock bands like Guns N' Roses to the soft sounds of Jewel. He was a good cook, known for his mashed potatoes, proud of earning his Serve Safe certification, and worked in both landscaping and as a dedicated Personal Care Assistant.

Jared had a special love for his fiancée Alicia and was a caring, devoted partner. He was someone who made friends easily. Wherever he went people remembered his humor and big heart. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

A funeral Service for Jared will be held on Wednesday, October 15th, at 11:00 am in The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St. Southbridge. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 10:00 to11:00am, prior to the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dismas House, P.O. Box 30125, Worcester, MA 01603.
