Obituary published on Legacy.com by Madison Funeral Services on Mar. 15, 2024.
MARSHALL – Jared Alan Wilson, 28, of Mars Hill, NC, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024.
Jared was born August 23, 1995 in Asheville, NC. He graduated from Madison High School in 2014. Jared was a plumber by trade for 10 years. A daredevil who had a zest for life, he loved life and lived it! He loved dirt bike racing and had many go-cart wrecks with his cousins. At an early age he loved to watch Dale Earnhardt racing with is dad, and enjoyed watching cartoons with his mom. Jared was brought to the Lord by his Grammy and he always made sure his Mamaw's stove was full so she would never be cold. Jared had a long-time friend, Dylan Cox, with whom he, and several other of his buddies, made many great memories. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Melissa Ball Wilson, maternal grandfather, Gerald Ball, and his uncle, Ricky Ball.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jerry "Alan" Wilson and his wife Renee Wilson (step-mom) of Erwin, TN; step-sister, Amy Shelton; maternal grandmother, Marie Ball; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Dena Wilson; uncle, Daryl Wilson (Traci); aunts, Denise McFee (Keith) and Celeste Wilson; five cousins: Garrett Wilson, Colby Wilson, Cody Ball, Lillian Wallen and Georgia Wallen; his two cats, Big Bean and Little Bean; a boxer, Tyson (JuJu); as well as many other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at California Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Josh McDevitt officiating. Pallbearers will be: Alan Wilson, Daryl Wilson, Keith McFee, Garrett Wilson, Colby Wilson, and Dylan Cox. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
Condolences can be made to the family online at www.MadisonFH.com.
