On Saturday, March 16, 2024, the world bid farewell to a cherished individual, Jason Darrick Dodd, who peacefully passed away in Waynesboro, TN. He held strong to the Baptist Faith and was a respected member of the IBEW. Jason found joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, and cheering on TN sports teams. His heart belonged to the St. Louis Cardinals, reflecting his passionate sports fandom.

Left to treasure his memory are his Father, Danny James Dodd Sr.; Mother and Step-Father, Nancy Jane and Terry Morris; Sons, Jagger Dodd and Jett Dodd; Daughters, Jayda Dodd and Jaylee Dodd; Brother, Danny "Jamie" Dodd Jr.; Step Brother, Ted Morris (Sara); Step Sister, Meggin Sessions (Chris); Sister-in-law, Tanzie Dodd; Nieces, Aleah Dodd and Brittney Hayes. In the realm beyond, Jason reunites with his Paternal Grandparents, Daniel and Betty Dodd; Maternal Grandparents, Betty Yearby and Howard Jesse Blanton; Step Grandfather, Theodore H. Morris; and Uncle David Dodd.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Jason Dodd during the visitation at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN on Friday, March 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service commemorating Jason's life will take place at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m., with Brother Greg Eaton leading the service. Following the service, Jason will be laid to rest at the Wayne County Memorial Gardens in Collinwood.
