Jason D. Fonner, 48, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
Jason was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 3, 1975 to Daniel and Linda (Shelton) Fonner. He resided with his mom his whole life. Jason was a blessing to her, his sisters, and special family and friends. He gave joy to everyone he met. Jason lived his life loving people and gathering people together, and he would then go into another room. He loved giving people nicknames, calling BINGO, and volunteering in the community through ARC.
Jason is survived by his mother, Linda (Shelton) Fonner; sister, Kelly Basham (Joel) and their children, Lily and Tyler; sister, Jennifer Elsass (Josh) and their children, Jackson and Audrey; and sister, Katie Huebschman (Brandon) and their children, Ayden and Kenzie.
Jason was preceded in death by father, Daniel Fonner.
Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. A sharing of memories will begin at 6:00 pm. Private burial will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to an account that will contribute to his amazing staff that helped throughout his life.
A special thanks to the many family and friends who helped and prayed for a peaceful walk to God.

Jason was an incredible and gentle man. Loved spending time with him in the community, volunteering and enjoying lunch. At times, all business, but also liked jokes and his laughter was priceless. Jesus loves you.
