With great sadness, we announce the passing of Jason Madison Ladendorf, 41, Seattle, WA (formerly of Galesburg, IL) on February 27, 2024. Jason was born November 30, 1982 in Oquawka, IL, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Lynn (Farley) Ladendorf. He graduated from Galesburg High School the class of 2002. Jason worked at several automotive shops around Galesburg, IL., Parker, CO., and Seattle, WA.
Jason's children were the light of his life, though time was spent apart from them he truly held them near and dear to his heart and mind. He enjoyed working on and tinkering with engines, watching football and rooting for his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Chicago cubs.
Survivors include: daughter Alexis Ladendorf of Galesburg; sister Audra (Jason) Hill of Durand, IL; sister Melissa LeAira of Denver, CO.; sister Tina (Shane) Olsen of Biggsville, IL; nephews Carson (fiancée Danielle Jahn), Liam and Garrett Hill, Aaron Shin; nieces Amber and Vanessa Russi, Adrianna Almaguer; uncle William Farley of Mountain Home, ID.; aunt Candy Handrahan of Kadoka, SD; aunt Karla Cook of Washington, IL; and numerous cousins.
Predeceased by his parents Gary and Lynn, step-father Roger Simpson, grandparents Audrey and Grover Farley, Reva Kimmitt and Herman Ladendorf, aunt Robyn Cook, uncles Irving Farley, Richard Cook, Randell Cook and Terry Ladendorf.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Bertha Pitts Campbell Place for all the friendship and support Jason received while there.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Wataga Town Hall, 100 E. Willard St., Wataga, IL. from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cremation Rites were Accorded. McCorkle Funeral Home- Durand Chapel assisted the family.
We invite everyone who knew Jason to share their memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page. This will not only serve as a tribute to his life but also as a source of comfort and healing for all who loved him.
