Jason Tiger age 54, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born July 20, 1970 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Houston Tiger Sr. and Margaret (Harjo) Tiger.
He graduated from New Lima High School. He was a member of Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church. He was a Florida State Seminole Fan. He was a bull rider and a peanut butter eating champion. He enjoyed picking onions, helping others, and spending time with his family and friends. Jason dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior and his church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Greg Tiger, George Tiger; daughter, Tessa Coon.
Jason is survived by his wife, Darleata Tiger of the home; children, Malinda Emarthla and husband Chebon of Konawa, OK, Jason Tiger Jr. of Seminole, OK, Atheinah Harjo of Seminole, OK, Haleighyah Billy of Seminole, OK, Jeremiah Tiger of Seminole, OK; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Tiger of Wewoka, OK, Bennie Tiger and wife Lenora of Wewoka, OK, Houston Tiger Jr. and wife Rosie of Wewoka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Body will be taken to the home in Seminole, OK at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, June 20, 2025 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka, OK with Charles West officiating and Bart Looney assisting. Interment to follow at Emarthla Cemetery in Konawa, OK.
Pallbearers: Kendall Tiger, Houston Tiger III, James Tiger, Tyler Combs, Paulo Gonzales, Jeremy Wright.
Honorary pallbearers: Jimmy Tiger, Junior Tiger, Bennie Tiger, Chebon Emarthla, Charles West, Bart Looney, Nephews, and Grandsons.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
