Javier Garza passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, October 28th , at the age of 48. He was born on November 12, 1976, in San Antonio, Texas. Javier attended Brackenridge High School, where he graduated in 1995 and continued his education at Texas Tech University, earning a bachelor's degree. He proudly served in the United States Navy. At the age of 25, he met the love of his life , Monica Fernandez , and from that moment on, they were inseparable.

A man with passion for exploration, Javier loved to travel and had the privilege of visiting many countries around the world, creating lasting memories with friends and family along the way. He was an avid sports fan, cheering faithfully for his beloved San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.

Javier was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of family gatherings, and his joy in barbecuing for everyone – bringing people together through laughter, good food, and genuine care. His devotion to his family was the foundation of his strength and success in life. He shared countless meals , stories, and memories with those he loved the most. To all who knew him, Javier was a steady presence- someone you could always count on, whose kindness, generosity, and humor left a mark on every heart he touched.

Javier is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Garza, and his mother, Cecilia Garza.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Monica Garza; stepdaughter Taylor (Alfredo) Terrazas; stepson John Paul Gonzalez; daughter's, Kianna and Ava Garza; granddaughter, Farrah Bustos; brother Jesus Garza Jr.; sister, Martha Borroel; along with nieces and nephews. He will be remembered always for his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought into the lives of so many.
