Jean Kelpin Obituary

Jean was born June 7, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Rollo and Mary Elsaman Riggs.
She would eventually marry William Clifford Kelpin.
Mrs. Kelpin worked in housekeeping at Memorial Hospital in South Bend for several years before retiring. While enjoying her retirement in Margate, Florida, Jean found it relaxing to do needlepoint, coloring and word searches.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Cynthia) Imel; grandsons, William (Megan) Imel, T.J. Imel; granddaughter, Olivia Imel, all of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; daughter, Betty Ann Imel; son, John Wayne Ime, Jr.; brothers, Bill Riggs, Robert Riggs and sister, Mary McClinton.
In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place. There are no other services planned at this time.
