Jean Diane Kuszynski, 78, of Kiel died Friday evening June 13, 2025 at Rocky Knoll Health Care where she has resided for the past 6 months. She was born on February 25, 1947 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Leo and Ruth (Reich) Hartung. Jean was a graduate of Kohler High School and furthered her education at Bryant and Stratton College. On May 17, 1969 she was united in marriage to Rodney Kuszynski in West Allis. Jean spent many years working for St. Nicholas Hospital in administration as an Accounts Specialist. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Elkhart Lake. Jean and Rod spent 14 years in Seiverville, TN. returning to Wisconsin in 2023. During that time she was a member at St. Paul Lutheran. Jean had a soft spot in her life for animals, especially dogs. She participated in 4-H dog training for many years, was active in showing dogs and was a member of Therapy Dog groups. Survivors include her husband; Rodney, children; Erin Kestell, Joel (Becky) Kuszynski both of Plymouth, grandchildren; Katie (Sean), Isaac, Mariah, Grant and Amanda, great grandchildren; Saylor and Rowan. Further survived by a sister; Judy (August) Hocevar and a sister-in-law; Annette, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law; Darlene (David) Cooper A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm on Friday July 18, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church (210 Lincoln St. Elkhart Lake). Visitation will take place at the church from 1:30pm until 3:30pm. Jean's family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers or monetary donations, please make a contribution to your favorite charity in the name of Jean Kuszynski.
