Jean Brame Lemmons

Jean Brame Lemmons, 84, of Kenly passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Marsh Swamp OFWB Church, 6664 Rock Ridge School Road, Sims. Inurnment will follow in Marsh Swamp OFWB Church Cemetery, Sims. Rev. Ray Wells will officiate.
The family will receive friends Monday evening May 12, 2025, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Jean was a lifelong member of Marsh Swamp OFWB Church where she taught Sunday school, was a youth ministry leader, a member of ladies auxiliary and a member of the Church choir.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Amy Browder and husband, Michael; sons, Mike Lemmons and wife, Jackie, Jeff Lemmons and wife, Lynn, and Lee Lemmons; grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Brent, Michelle and husband, Drew, Travis and wife, Melissa, Matt and wife, Mary, Kirsten and husband, Corey, Steven and wife, Sarah, Garrett and wife, Elle, and Emma Grace; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ellie, Willow, Miles, Addilyn, Kenzie, Katie, and Avery; sister, Sara Skinner, and her brother, David Brame and wife, Vicki.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Garland Lemmons; parents, Ethel and Kermit Brame; sister, Julia Sharp and her husband, Thad; daughter-in-law, Danee’ Lemmons and brother-in-law, James Skinner.
