Bay City, Michigan
Jeanette A. LeTourneau, our beautiful, strong, loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2023 at Brian's House with her family by her side, age 83 years. Jeanette was born June 10, 1939 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Charles W. and Norma M. (Aldrich) Schalk. She worked numerous years at The Three Sisters restaurant and then as a homemaker raising her family. She was an all around wonderful seamstress working on beautiful patchwork quilts, baby blankets and baby dresses, to name just a few, just about any and all things crafty. She was also a wonderful cook that adored dinners the family. She was a selfless woman who always put her family first and lived for each moment she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed her fun adventures to the casino.
Jeanette is survived by her loving children, Kimberly Easley, Rob (Nancy) Parker, Beth (Tim) Bradley and Jeff (Judy) LeTourneau;
her grandchildren, Tim (Jessica) Bradley Jr., "Grandmas sidekick" Jennah (Brooks) Bradley, Bobbie Parker, Justin (Sara) Parker, April Parker, Heather (Naveed) Anjum, Steve (Krystyna) Hurney, C.J. (Stephanie) LeTourneau, Amanda Murowski, Patrick Easley;
great grandchildren, Natalie, Mia, Isaac, Daniel, Lux, Liv, Aaleyah, Pola, Remy, Kylie, and Camden; sisters, Gwen (Sam) Morley, Wanda (Jim) Irving, Sherrie (Dennis) Rivet, and Ila (Allen) Cozart who was more to her than just her sister, but her best friend; as well as her very great friend Norma Settle; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her son Michael J. LeTourneau, husband (The love of her life) John C. "Jack" LeTourneau in 2002; her brother, Donald Schalk; and best friend, Kathleen "Cassie" Fahrner.
Visitation for Jeanette will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 3-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Squires Funeral Home, 211 N. Henry Street, Bay City, Michigan 48706. Her funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Temple officiating. A private family interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City, Michigan. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to "Family Wishes" in care of Beth Bradley.
