Born on Lebanon on April 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lilly May Brown Walmer. Jeanette had worked as a seamstress for the former Everite Knitting Mills. She loved to dance and in her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding.
She is survived by her son Lester E. Spangler, III and his wife Waneida of Jonestown; her sister Catherine Church of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Jason Spangler and Jennifer Marie wife of Michael Bixler and her great grandchildren Evin and Chase Bixler.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Kenneth and Donald Walmer.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
