Jeanne Alvino Obituary
Jeanne was born on July 26, 1945 in Kearny, NJ. She was the daughter of Margaret (nee Williams) and Henry Herd. Jeanne lived in Bloomfield and was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. She later moved to Belleville before moving to Millington. She was employed as a Waitress at the Zig Zag Café in Belleville for 25 years before her retirement. It was at the restaurant where she met her life partner of 40 years, Gerry Vecchione. Jeanne was talented at interior decorating and known for her dried flower arrangements.
Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037-1830 or by visiting https://www.lupus.org/
