Jeanne Frances Krause, age 96, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Jeanne Krause, age 96, died on May 28, 2023. Jeanne is the beloved wife of the late Robert Krause. Loving mother of Joe (Linda) Krause, Frank (Vicki) Krause, Rick (Robin) Krause, Chris (Nancy) Krause, Cathy (Ed) Seman, and Patty (Bob) Trombley. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 24. Dear sister of Virginia (Joe) Wagner, sister in law Janet Vigneux, sister in the law to the late Carol (John) Laverty. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She was a founding member of St. Leonard of Port Maurich Parish in Warren where she was in the Ladies Guild and Ladies Sodality. She did numerous duties in both groups that benefitted the church for many years. She was known for her treasured and award winning apple pies where she won first place one year in the Pie Baking Contest. She was so loving, giving, and caring to everyone she met. She loved cooking and baking for the holidays for her family for many, many years. She will be truly missed by everyone she knew. She was a homemaker who raised six wonderful children. She was a very avid reader and was reading the Eastpointe Library murder mystery section from A-Z. She made it to halfway through the "S" section before she was unable to see to read.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 2pm to 8pm with a rosary at 6pm, at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, in Warren. Instate will be Friday from 9:30am until the time of the funeral mass at 10am, at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families, in Center Line.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or CSJ Congregation of St. Joseph.
