Jeff Ray Hickok, 52, of Pine Mountain Valley, died on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA.
Jeff was born on January 29, 1973 in Columbus, GA. He was raised and lived his adult life in Harris County. He worked for various companies throughout his life, including many years at Callaway Gardens. Jeff was most recently employed with KIA Motors as a vehicle transporter. He had many hobbies he enjoyed, most notably raising his chickens, working on cars, and watching movies. He was a handyman, and had taken great pride in his home remodeling projects. He truly enjoyed working on his house. He and his stepfather, Homer Talbot, spent much quality time working together on the house. His family was most important to him, especially caring for his mother and brother. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Homer Talbot; grandparents, Edward and Annie Griffin and Noel and Flossie Hickok; uncles, Jimmy Ray and David Griffin; and aunt, Celia Akins.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Alice Talbot of Pine Mountain Valley, GA; father, Guy F. Hickok, Sr., of Talbotton, GA; brother, Guy F. (Jessica) Hickok, Jr. of Stovall, GA; nieces, Amber and Sarah Hickok; and, several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
