Jeffery Thomas "Jeff" Francis Sr.

Francis – Jeffery "Jeff" Thomas Francis, Sr., age 63, of St. George, GA, passed away on January 8, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Roseville, California on February 13, 1960, to Norma Hobbs Francis and the late Gerald Francis. Jeff was raised in Baldwin, Florida, and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1978. Shortly after school, on December 15, 1979, Jeff married his best friend and forever companion, Vonda Ann. They enjoyed 38 amazing years of marriage and lovingly raised their son and daughter together. Jeff was a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather who was known for being a "Family Man". He enjoyed a long successful career as a Mechanic. Jeff served at David Joseph Steel Mill in Baldwin and proudly served for over 30 years. When not working, he enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. race and Florida State Seminole Football. In his younger years, Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, and volunteering as a Volunteer Firefighter with Station 46 in Baldwin. More than anything, Jeff loved his family and enjoyed spending precious time with them. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Francis and his loving wife, Vonda Francis.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Francis of Baldwin, FL; children, J.T. (Sally) Francis of Glen St. Mary, FL and Julie (Bo Rahme) Francis of St. George, GA; brother, Mark Francis of Baldwin, FL; sister, Teresa Francis of Baldwin, FL; grandchildren, Brady, Allison, Nicholas, Oliver, Jayden, and Lily; along with several extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Ferreira Funeral Services Baldwin Chapel with Pastor Michael B. Ramondetta officiating.
