Jeffred “Mike” Michael Danos passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of Freida Pearl Newsome Danos. Son of the late Edmond G. Danos and Jean Durant Lafont Danos. Father of Angela Danos, the late David Michael Danos, Kara Danos Urban (Trey), the late Drew Patricia Danos, stepson Derek Newell Evans (Melissa) and stepdaughter Tonya Evans. Grandfather of Kandace and Zoey Lynn Danos Richarson, Gianluca Daniele, Adrian Danos, and Jason “Cade”, Riley and Bailey Hayden. Great Grandfather of Logan, Hayden and Adaleiade Richardson. Brother of the late Ruth Ribaul (late Joe), the late Edmund Danos (late Lois), the late Geraldine Verret (late Robert), the late Josephine “Josie” Danos, the last Connie Alagdon (late Frank), the late Millie Orgeron (late Robert), the late Raymond Danos (Patrica), the late Ramona Delaune (late Walter), the late Bonnie Arabie (late Lefty) and Harry Danos (Gayland). Uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
Mike retired from Dupont in instrumentation engineering. He loved Jeopardy and horse racing. His favorite pastime was spending time with his wife and best friend, Freida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Mothe Harvey, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Catholic service will follow at 11:00 AM with interment to immediately follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1255 Whiteny Ave, Gretna, LA.
