In loving memory of Jeffrey A. Dickey, of Audubon, who passed away peacefully on Thursday March 21, 2024, in his home. He was 56 years old. Born January 23, 1968, in Darby, he was the son of Douglas N. Dickey and the late Patricia A. (nee Mea) Dickey. Jeff was the beloved husband, soul mate and best friend of Genevieve (nee Steiger) Dickey, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage.
Jeff was a graduate of Strath Haven High School and earned his BS from University of Delaware. Jeff was an elite level fan of the Eagles, known for his passionate enthusiasm during games. He had a great sense of humor and could spontaneously make anyone laugh with a funny movie quote or silly impersonation. His encyclopedic knowledge of film, music, and sports was legendary among friends and family, earning him the title of "king of trivia". His love of laughter, grilling, and a cold beer made him a cornerstone of any group he was a part of.
Jeff lived for his children and was always involved with coaching football, baseball, and softball. He was a dedicated and loving husband to Genevieve (Gene) and among their many activities, they really looked forward to biking season with the "Bike Crew". In honor of Genevieve, Jeff rode the Tour de Shore many times for breast cancer awareness.
Another of Jeff's greatest joys was the life-long bonds he cherished with his childhood friends whom he loved like brothers.
Jeff was Senior VP at Customers Bank and was the Portfolio Management Director of Business Lending. He was highly dedicated and thought of amongst his co-workers who are as equally as devastated.
Jeff will be remembered as a humble, caring and dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend who will be sorely missed by his wife, children, father, extended family, friends, co-workers and constant sidekick, Charlie.
In addition to his wife Genevieve, and his father Doug, Jeff is survived by his son Brian W. Dickey, his daughter Alexandra J. Dickey, his brother Neal Dickey, and his sister Jordana Dickey.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Jeff's Life Celebration on Thursday March 28, from 9 AM to 10:50 AM at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd. Norristown. A Prayer Service for Jeff will begin promptly at 11 AM at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 610-277-7000. In lieu of flowers, donations for the family can be made to Genevieve Dickey and sent to Customers Bank, 1101 Woodland Rd, Wyomissing, PA 19610.

Jeff and I met in 3rd grade music class with Mr. Bracken as the teacher. We became best friends. Our friendship lasted almost 50 years and I am saddened and shocked. He was a friend to everyone who got to know him and he will be missed. We love you Jeff...always know that.
