Jeffrey Gayheart, age 58, resident of Shelby, Passed away unexpectedly in his home, Friday morning, May 2, 2025.
Jeff was born on March 2, 1967 to Tommy and Imogene (Caudill) Gayheart in Willard, Ohio.
He was a graduate of Plymouth High School class of 1985. Throughout his life, he has enjoyed fishing, riding his bike and some camping. He also liked to do his best at fixing vehicles and anything else which needed fixing. Jeff loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He will truly be missed by family and friends.
Those who will cherish his memories include his wife, Rosetta (Thornsberry) Gayheart, whom he married on September 3, 2016 of Shelby, Ohio; his father, Tommy Gayheart of Shelby, Ohio; his children: Morgan Gayheart of Willard, Ohio, Travis Gayheart of Plymouth, Ohio, Kyle Gayheart of Mansfield, Ohio, Cory Puckett of Willard, Ohio and Kayla Puckett of Somerset, Kentucky; his grandchildren: Noah Gayheart, Dakota Gayheart, Bentley Solis, Gracelynn Solis and Graham; his sisters: Melissa (Paul) Barnett of North Fairfield, Ohio, April Brewer of Cardington, Ohio and Tammy (Leroy) Carrington of Bowling Green, Kentucky and many other relatives.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Imogene Gayheart; his grandchildren: Colt Gayheart, Jace Solis and Nora Solis and his sister, Tabitha Gayheart.
Friends and family may come to honor Jeff's life from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the Willard Church of God, 4554 Willard West Road, Willard, Ohio 44890. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the church starting at 12:00 PM. Pastor George Boyer will officiate with interment held in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given in care to the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory to assist with a headstone.
