Jeffrey Lou Hild, 76 of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Jeff was a proud Marine Corps Veteran who served in Vietnam. He received two Purple Heart medals for his wartime injuries on the battlefield. Jeff will always be remembered for his love of dogs - especially his "grand pups" Hannah & Henry and Reggie & Sammy. Jeff loved hunting, fishing, practical jokes, guns, and fast cars. He was a faithful member of the Church of Truth for the last 12 years. He always had Dum-Dum suckers to share with the Sunday School kids.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 20th, at the Church of Truth Ministries, located at 745 S. Lake St., Gypsum. Visitation will be held in the worship center from 12 p.m.-2 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Graveside services at Catawba Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
