Jeffrey Lamont Johnson Obituary
JEFFREY LAMONT JOHNSON, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Mount Carmel Grove City.
He was born on December 29, 1963 in Fayette County to Jesse Johnson, Jr. and Sophia Ann (Dixson) Johnson. He was a 1982 graduate of Washington High School and attended DeVry University. He is a 39 year veteran at PPG in Circleville, Ohio. Jeffrey never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew him. His smile and charismatic charm could light up any room, he was lovingly known as "The Mayor." He enjoyed golfing, playing Keno, spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye, Los Angeles Chargers, and North Carolina Tar Heels fan.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his nephew, Miles Johnson.
Survivors include his parents, Jesse Johnson, Jr. and Sophia Johnson; brother, Michael Johnson and his girlfriend, Jackie Myers; nephew, Mikel Johnson; and special friends, Jasmine and Tanner King. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 3-5:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place Church, 240 Courthouse Pkwy, Washington CH, OH 43160.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to The Gathering Place Church.
Please wear your casual attire and come as you are, Jeffrey would not want it any other way.
