Jeffrey Eugene Lowe of Spartanburg, SC passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 54.
He was an experienced auto body technician and loved NASCAR. He was the #1 Dale Earnhart fan of all time. He loved go-cart racing, fishing and hanging out at the beach. He spent lots of time with his family in Wilmington, NC to be near the ocean. He grew up in Woodruff, SC and attended Woodruff High School, where he was on the wrestling team.
Jeff is survived by his son, Ethan Johnson, stepdaughter, Alivia Johnson and their wonderful mother, Christina Johnson, sister, Sheila Lowe Martin; brother, John (JT) Garrett; two nephews, Kurt "Luke" Steinecke and Justin Garrett; niece, Krysten Steinecke-Caraballo; three beautiful aunts, Wanda Stanley, Priscilla Huskey and Blanche Elder Bryant, and lots of cousins; one great niece and one great-nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Clayton Lowe and Barbara Jolley Garrett; sister, Sherril Lowe; paternal grandparents, George and Lucille Lowe and maternal grandparents, Boyce and Vera Jolley.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to his teenage son, Ethan Johnson in memory of the loss of his father, Jeffrey Lowe. Ethan is a wonderful young man who is working hard in school, is very athletic, cares deeply for his Mama and his little sister. He loves cars like his Daddy and is destined for great things in life.
