Jeffrey Wayne Moon

Jeffrey Wayne Moon, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the age of 51.
Born on April 19, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia, Jeffrey grew up to embody the spirit of kindness and compassion that defined his life. Residing in Powder Springs, Georgia, he was well-loved by his family and community.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Jeffrey found joy in nature's beauty and often shared his adventures with those he cherished. His love for knowledge was reflected in his impressive collection of nearly a thousand books; he was passionate about reading and often engaged in meaningful discussions about his latest finds. Known for his generous heart, Jeffrey was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Though he never married, Jeffrey would have made a wonderful husband and father, as his nurturing spirit and deep love for his cherished dog, Duke, attested. He was a faithful son to his mother, Eileen Moon, and a caring brother to his sister, Tracy Moon. Jeffrey valued his family above all, holding close the bonds he shared with his sister and cousins, Angel Kruse and Chase Standridge. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Robert Byron Moon.
