Jeffrey Teaster, age 51, of Bessemer City, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at his home. Jeffrey was born on October 10, 1972, in Cleveland County, son to the late Jethro Lee and Mary Sue Ruppe Teaster. Jeffrey was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. He enjoyed listening to music and knew who wrote and performed many songs. Jeffrey could regularly be found outdoors, fishing and camping. He loved taking trips to the North Carolina and Tennessee Mountains. He liked sharing stories about his many trips, as a truck driver, to California. Jeffrey also had an infectious sense of humor and kept everyone laughing.
Survivors include his children, Jeffrey Teaster II (Savannah Davis), Breanna Kimbrell (Jackson), Grace Teaster, Brittany Teaster, Jason Lee Teaster, Bailee Teaster, and Bella Teaster; brothers, Jimmy Teaster (Shirley), and Jerry Teaster (Wendy Westmoreland); sisters, Debbie Huff, Teresa Ogle, Sandra Welch, and Tammy Gill; and granddaughter, Evagiline Teaster.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Austin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
