Jeffrey Lynn Walker

Jeffrey Lynn Walker was born on February 12, 1975, to Bernice
Walker and the late Daniel Walker. He left this earth
on January 13, 2023, at the age of 47.
Jeffrey was a caring son, father, brother, loving partner, and
friend. He was a long-time member of the Star of Bethlehem
Pentecostal Church, where he accepted Christ and was baptized
at an early age. Jeffrey was raised and resided in Lexington,
Kentucky and attended Tates Creek High School. Known by
family and friends for his sense of humor and his love and
passion for gospel music, Jeffrey was a skilled drummer who
used his musical gifts and talents to bless others, using every
chance he could to minister at his church and many other
churches in Louisville (KY), Cincinnati (OH)
and the Lexington community.
In addition to Jeffrey's father (Daniel Walker), Jeffrey is preceded
in death by his loving daughter, Aujaree "Ree Ree Gold" Walker
and sister Rogina Denise Ross. Jeff joins his father, daughter and
sister, in heaven, where they are sure to meet again.
Celebrating Jeff's life and honoring his memory, Jeff is survived
by his daughter, Jazlyn Marie Walker; mother, Minister Bernice
Walker; long-time partner, Hope Rothwell (along with their
daughter, Charmaine Guest); and brother, Daniel Scott (Christina)
Walker. He is also survived by his nieces, Taleisha and Taloria
Ross and many more nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles,
grandchildren, family, and close friends.
